Loader can just stack up 2k health just in shields from using m1. Sure neither of them can compare to other characters when it comes to M1 but I wouldn't say they are similar at all in that regard. Artificer has 4 shots and then needs to wait for cooldowns. Loader doesn't have nearly as much bad synergy with on hit items because you can endlessly auto attack while using your abilities anyway. She can easily be totally overwhelmed by enemies if she's on her own and you actually need to aim her abilities and land them unlike a lot of characters that pretty much will never miss (Like the loader) Artificer is decent early on but will quickly fall off if you're not getting good items. But every single one of her skills is on a cooldown. It's only the bosses that take more hits and even then you don't need items for it you just keep using your shift with like a 4 second cooldown. Loader can pretty much one shot everything without any items for the first few stages.
